1. REDIMENSIONED PHOTO PROJECT
My first discovery is a great "street artist" in London: Slinkachu. In his "Little People" project ([link]), he creates mostly socio-critical installations by leaving little handpainted people at different places in London "to fend for themselves". That his tiny installations are overlooked by many of the passing people reflects the overlooking by the real society of the social situations represented by these little figures.
Slinkachu's recently published photo book "Little People in the City" inspired me for my "Redimensioned Photo Project". I've bought some small figures from the model railway shop and try now to install these "little people" at different places in Bern (Switzerland). Unlike Slinkachu, I'm not intending to create socio-critical installations or leave the figures at their places. I'm much more interested to create photographs, where you can see the same situation or scenery from two very different dimensions: One is the dimension of the human-size world, the other is the dimension of the tiny figure.
2. BELLA VENEZIA
My second discovery is one of the most photogenic towns in the world: Venice in Italy. I've been there with my CANON EOS 40D. For one week. I've taken more than 600 pictures... Some of them, I'm going to add to my DA-Gallery. But it takes some time to decide which phographs to choose...
And these are my favorite artists:
You have to watch their great galleries!

92% of teens would be dead if Abercrombie & Fitch said it wasn't cool to breathe. Put this in your sig if you are the 8% who would be laughing.
